Happy Birthday Hadleigh!

Today marked Hadleigh's second anniversary of life. We had an amazing day and it started with a candle in a biscuit along with the Birthday Song, then a trip to Build-a-Bear. She really enjoyed just about every minute of it. She was scared when she stepped on the pedal to fill her bear with fluff and it made a loud noise. She jumped a bit. Her favorite part by far was washing her bear. I think she would have washed her bear all day long if she could have. We started with the name Heart but her bear has been renamed Tinkerbear. After bringing a new bear into our family we rode the carousel and then home for lunch, presents and cupcakes. She hit the jackpot with presents, a Little Einstein Rocket, a crawling baby doll, a stroller and all the accessories and a medal all the way from Vancouver!

She played and played after her nap and she did not want to take a nap today but after crying for a bit she finally settled down and rested. It took her some time to fall asleep tonight too, can we say a little too overstimulated, oh well, you only have a birthday once a year and you only turn 2 once!
