Recovery mode
The last toy was finally removed from its box today. We have been so busy with family that the girls have had little time to truly immerse themselves into playing with new toys. Not that they needed anything and we did return and donate a number of items they still ended up, as my dad would say, winning! Our Christmas festivities have played out the same way for the last few years. Christmas Eve service at Advent, Christmas Eve night in Bells, Christmas morning at the Henderson's, lunch with the Cowan's and dinner with the Welsh's. Always a very full day, tons of fun, and exhaustion. This year poor Hadleigh, Joseph, his mom and dad came down with a little bug and were wiped out. They amazingly all made it through Christmas but were not quite as chipper as usual. Hadleigh was just going through the motions of the day and I really wish they all would have felt better but it was an awful bug that somehow the rest of us did not manage to catch. We have all recovered and things are finally back in their places from all of our adventures on the farm and we will continue to play and play... at least until parents day out starts next week!
