Squirrels

Hadleigh plays by herself very well. Most of the time her big sister is entertaining her but when she gets to be just with Mommy on Tuesday and Thursday mornings she really has a blast. Today the fascination was squirrels. We have about one million acorns in our backyard and about that many squirrels to go along with them. I would love to come up with a way to make acorns be our new currency because we could pull the nation out of debt with just our yard! I digress, anyways they come right up to our screen door and try to get in and Hadleigh just loves it. She just sits and watches them pound on the glass. When they leave she gets upset and will come sit with me and beg for them to come back. Today she finally realized she can go to our other two windows and watch them as they continue to hunt and gather. It is amazing the little things we forget about as we get so distracted in our grown up world. Thank goodness for kids!
