Orlando Family Vacation Take 3

Rain, Rain please don't come our way... we managed to make it to Sea World before the park even opened on Monday morning so we got to enter right at 9 and see it all. It was a very good thing we did because the weather was not cooperating. Despite the weather we got to see just about everything we wanted. We started out seeing the sea lions and then the penguins and then sat down for the Sea Lion show which is still so cute and really held the girls attention. From there we went to see the sharks, the Clydesdale's and then found seats for Shamu! We had a little snack while we were waiting for the show to begin and then enjoyed the magnificent performance. I promise the minute the show ended the rain clouds opened and started dropping so out came the ponchos and off we went to the arctic to see the beluga whale, walrus and polar bear. Thanks to our Memphis weather man (thanks Dad) we found out it would be hit or miss the rest of the day so we decided to see as much as we could and just get wet. We made it to see Shamu underwater and then to the sting rays, which Morgan touched while Hadleigh was fast asleep, and then visited the dolphins. It started raining again but it was almost time for the dolphin show so we went and sat down out of the rain and waited for it to start. I still think this is one of the most amazing shows and again the girls were about as still as could be. Well... Hadleigh was, I believe Morgan was enjoying some yogurt raisins at the beginning of the show and they truly had her attention. Once the show was over we called it a day which worked great because it was when we were going to leave anyways to go take naps for our evening activities.
That evening we ate leftovers in our room and then out to find princess shoes and to see if we could take a look around Disney's Fort Wilderness for future vacations. As much as it did rain all day the evening was pretty nice, a little misty but all in all pretty pleasant. Morgan really wanted Ariel shoes but the ones we found were not at all what she had in mind so we told her we would keep looking and go get ice cream instead. Ghiradelli's here we come. So yummy and the girls loved every last bite. A great day even with all the rain!

  1. You forgot to mention two things;
    1. That is my standard report. And,
    2. It was followed by, "...period of darkness followed hours later by period of light."
